Allagash International Announces Joint Venture with Caspian Energy

Allagash International Inc. President and CEO of Terry J. Ingram has announced a formal joint venture with Caspian Energy. Caspian Energy is an oil and gas exploration company operating in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Caspian’s primary focus is supplying product solutions to the oil and gas sectors. Allagash has created this market joint venture to increase exports to the region, which is one of the fastest growing areas in the Asian market. The plan is to create an assembly and technician center in Kazakhstan, in order to service the emerging oil & gas industries. Allagash will continue to do all the primary manufacturing in its U.S. plants and ship sub-assemblies to meet local content requirements for the Kazakhstan government. With oil and gas projects in the billions of dollars in Central Asia and direct port access from Portland to Rotterdam, Allagash is uniquely situated to achieve its goal of becoming a global resource.
