Earlier this week Larry Korf, former CEO of DeZURIK, announced the appointment of Bryan Burns to president and CEO, effective September 16, 2013.
“Bryan has earned the leadership responsibility and has my full endorsement along with our owners and the Board of Directors,” Korf said.
As part of a planned DeZURIK leadership transition, Korf will retain a position on the DeZURIK Board of Directors and assist in the CEO transition period for the balance of 2013.
Burns joined DeZURIK in 2010 as vp of operations and was promoted to COO in January 2012 and president and COO in March 2013. Previously Burns was employed by the Brunswick Corporation, where he was President of the Crestliner Division. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and earned his MBA from Duke University.
