VMA Opens Career Center on VMA.org
The association has just opened the doors to an Online Career Center where companies and industry professionals can now post—and search for—industry-related positions. “It’s often difficult to find key people with experience in the valve industry,” says VMA President Bill Sandler, “so we decided to add an online feature to our website to help job seekers find U.S. and Canadian companies with open positions, as well as offer these companies an opportunity to find qualified personnel.” Sandler notes that job postings will be limited to valve, actuator and control companies, and suppliers to those companies.
Employers can start in The VMA Store. by selecting either a 30, 60 or 90-day listing. Then, it's back to the Career Center to Submit an Opening. (If you are a member, sign in to the VMA community for lower rates.) Job seekers can go the Career Center and click on Search Openings. You can also use the Subscribe feature to receive notifications when new jobs are posted.
