A Great Response to New Houston-area Valve Basics Program
Valve professionals from around the U.S. and Canada attended the Valve Basics Seminar & Exhibits in Pasadena, TX last week; both the new facility—the Houston Area Safety Council—and the expanded “valve petting zoo,” received high praise from those who participated. One attendee, an engineer from Newfoundland, noted the course gave her an in-depth view of a wide range of valve/actuation types, as well as providing her with a much better understanding of valves, components, accessories and schematics. “This is a great investment in training that will help propel my career forward!” she said.
VMA plans to return to the Safety Council in the fall of 2018. Details about the next program will be announced in this publication and on VMA.org as soon as they are available.
