Emerson has become a member of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance (ECHA). Hydrogen’s share of the energy mix in Europe is currently less than 2%, but has the potential to rise to 10-23% by 2050, according the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre. In joining the ECHA, Emerson will be at the forefront of hydrogen developments in Europe, thereby actively supporting the goal of reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, as outlined in the European Union’s European Green Deal.
