Camseal® Cartridge-Style, Top Entry Zero Leakage Ball Valves Save Significant Time And Money

The Camseal zero leakage, metal seated forged ball valve from Conval features a cartridge-style, top entry design that saves significant time and money on installation, maintenance, replacement and downtime. With top entry access, maintenance and replacement of the cartridge internals are very convenient, with no effect on existing piping and welds.

The Camseal body/bonnet joint is not subject to pipeline stresses. There is no in-line body bolting to loosen or fatigue, so the body remains leak-free. All valves are capable of meeting zero bubbles for four minutes at 50 psi and 1,000 psi nitrogen. Modular internals isolate critical seal surfaces from thermal effects. Conval's exclusive Integral Gland Wrench concentrically loads the stem packing without tools, eliminating stem leaks and extending packing life. Reliable, accurate ball alignment is achieved due to the robust engagement between the one-piece stem and the ball. Superior bearing support of the blowout-proof stem ensures proper axial alignment. The custom-engineered flame spray chrome carbide coating has superior bond strength and coating density to provide long-life, leak-free performance even in high temperature and high pressure drop applications. In-line servicing can be accomplished in 30 minutes, restoring zero leakage performance in the event of process application abuse.

Camseal ball valves are available in ½" through 4" top entry sizes, with socket weld, butt weld, FNPT and a variety of other ends. Pressure ratings range from ASME Class 900 to 4500. Standard materials include carbon steel SA-105, stainless steel SA-182-F316/F316L, Alloy SA-182-F22 CI.3, SA-182-F91. Standard accessories include ISO-5211 integral mounting pad and electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuators. All valves are manufactured under a sophisticated Quality Management System.

New Keystone Series GR Resilient Seated Butterfly Valves from Pentair

Pentair Keystone Global Resilient GRPentair Valves & Controls, has announced the launch of two new Keystone Global Resilient (GR) seated heavy-duty industrial valves aimed at general-purpose applications. Available in lug (GRL) and wafer (GRW) body styles, the new valves offer longer cycle life and a lower total cost-of-ownership through increased reliability and performance. Based on an upgraded global design, the new valves offer a host of benefits, including a proprietary Pentair polymer seat for increased pressure holding capabilities and decreased wear. The result is a higher performing, longer lasting and more reliable valve that delivers lower total-cost-of-ownership. Other advanced features include higher pressure ratings, blow out resistant shafts, for increased safety of field personnel. A ductile iron body as standard allows for a stronger body connection.

ValvTechnologies, Inc. Adds New Feature to Valve Product Line

ValvTechnologies, Inc. has added bidirectional flow capabilities to its existing V1 valve product line. This is the first backpressure-resistant, metal-seated ball valve on the market.

The new V1 valve line feature prevents the load spring from collapsing, providing tight shutoff or zero leakage in the preferred direction after a reverse flow condition. Most power plant ball valves are unidirectional which makes the valves vulnerable to failure when they are exposed to back pressure. The bidirectional flow capabilities protect against damage to the internal components and load spring when the valve is exposed to back pressure.
