Pentair Valves & Controls, has announced the launch of two new Keystone Global Resilient (GR) seated heavy-duty industrial valves aimed at general-purpose applications. Available in lug (GRL) and wafer (GRW) body styles, the new valves offer longer cycle life and a lower total cost-of-ownership through increased reliability and performance. Based on an upgraded global design, the new valves offer a host of benefits, including a proprietary Pentair polymer seat for increased pressure holding capabilities and decreased wear. The result is a higher performing, longer lasting and more reliable valve that delivers lower total-cost-of-ownership. Other advanced features include higher pressure ratings, blow out resistant shafts, for increased safety of field personnel. A ductile iron body as standard allows for a stronger body connection.
Built to ASME and ISO specifications, the new Keystone GRL and GRW valves’ single-piece body design is fully compliant with EN 593 and API 609 standards as well as Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EU) Module B1 + D and CE Marking. A wide range of approvals is already available, including KIWA, ABS, WRAS, NSF/ANSI STD 61.
