Flowserve’s new Learning Resource Center finds a home on Lamar University’s campus.
Flowserve Corporation, a provider of flow control products and services for the global infrastructure markets, announced the opening of a new Learning Resource Center (LRC) on the Lamar University campus in Beaumont, TX. The new LRC will provide Flowserve customers and Lamar University students with the opportunity to engage with Flowserve’s products and technology through hands-on, lab-based learning experiences.
Flowserve’s team of certified trainers will facilitate product demonstrations and simulations, as well as leverage other training tools, to deepen participants’ understanding of Flowserve’s flow control systems. Based on the level of training, participants may be eligible to receive professional development or educational credits following completion.
“We are excited about partnering with Lamar University and the mutual opportunities this relationship will bring,” said Lamar Duhon, president, aftermarket services and solutions. “The Learning Resource Center will help us better connect with and support our customers, especially those in the Gulf Coast region of Texas and Louisiana, while furthering the education and development of Lamar University’s future innovators.”
