IMI Acquisition Expands its Industrial IIoT Capabilities

IMI Plc has announced the acquisition of TWTG Group B.V. (TWTG), an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) company based in the Netherlands. TWTG will become part of IMI’s Process Automation sector. This acquisition strengthens IMI’s position in digital transformation and process automation, broadening its capabilities in wireless IoT solutions.

TWTG, renowned for its wireless products and LoRaWAN-enabled devices, offers solutions that enhance operational efficiency, safety and sustainability across industries including energy, utilities and heavy manufacturing. With this acquisition, IMI aims to leverage TWTG’s expertise to accelerate its growth in the fast-evolving IIoT market, providing customers with state-of-the-art digitalization solutions.
