Trillium Flow Technologies, a portfolio company of First Reserve and a leading provider of highly engineered flow control products and aftermarket services, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its U.S. pumps business, Trillium Pumps US (“TPU”), to Crane Company (NYSE: CR), a premier industrial manufacturing and technology company, for approximately $240 million. The transaction represents a further step in Trillium’s approach to shaping its portfolio and positioning its businesses for long-term success.
TPU serves primarily municipal water and wastewater markets through its Floway, Wemco, Roto-Jet and WSP brands. The business provides highly engineered, mission-critical pumping solutions supported by a large installed base and recurring service, repair, retrofit and replacement demand throughout the asset lifecycle. The transaction is expected to be completed later this year, subject to customary closing conditions, including applicable regulatory approvals.
