The Biden administration will oversee the biggest upgrade of America’s infrastructure in a generation that will support manufacturers and promote competitiveness and growth for decades to come.

With impacts that weigh heavily on manufacturing and VMA’s end use markets, the passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal will bring monumental change and opportunities. In a press release from the Biden administration, this sweeping deal will rebuild America’s roads, bridges and rails, expand access to clean drinking water, ensure access to high-speed internet, address the climate crisis and invest in overlooked communities. The legislation will also help ease inflationary pressures and strengthen supply chains by making long overdue improvements for our nation’s ports, airports, rail and roads. It will drive the creation of good-paying union jobs and grow the economy equitably, adding on average 1.5 million jobs per year for the next 10 years.
