Rotork Controls Sales Revenue Up in Latest Financial Results

Rotork Controls sales revenue increased by 26.6% and the order book is 11.7% higher than at the same point last year. Progress continues to be made with regard to operating margin and this has increased by 2.3 percentage points to 30.7%.  

 

Sales revenue from the Americas was good, with both US and Canadian operations showing improved revenues and profit. All of the Asian companies saw revenues increase, with China being particularly strong.

Weir Reports 2009 Interim Financial Results

The Weir Power & Industrial Division supplies critical safety valves to the power generation markets where enquiry levels and government approvals continue to be strong and the low-cost Chinese business is being used to grow competitiveness and increase margins.

 

First half order input fell 21% to £139m (2008: £176m) reflecting the exceptional level of Chinese nuclear orders and a Libyan power station upgrade booked in the first half of 2008.

Emerson Process Management Announces Third Quarter 2009 Results

Emerson Process Management reported a sales decline of 13% for the quarter, which included a 9% decline in underlying sales, a negative 7% currency impact, and a positive 3% impact from the Roxar acquisition. Underlying sales from international markets were down 4% while sales in the United States declined 18%.

Cameron Second Quarter Earnings Per Share $0.60

Cameron Valves & Measurement group and the Compression Systems group saw revenues decline from year-ago levels, but they also did an admirable job of maintaining margins.” Cameron President and Chief Executive Officer Jack B. Moore noted that Cameron’s recent reinvestment in upgrading many of its manufacturing facilities is having a meaningful impact on the Company’s financial performance.

DeZurik Valve is Nearly Perfect After 50 Years

Looks like the Energizer Bunny better watch his tail. When it comes to endurance, DeZurik valves will certainly give him a run for his money.

 

The St. Cloud Water Treatment Plant recently removed some DeZurik valves in a routine upgrade of its filtration system. Originally installed in 1955, the valves had processed more than 69 billion gallons of water over the years.
