GARLOCK SEALING TECHNOLOGIES: SGi Bearing Isolator

GARLOCK SEALING TECHNOLOGIES announces the launch of a new bearing isolator that incorporates shaft grounding technology.

The Garlock SGi is the first seal to offer maintenance free and reliable bearing protection by preventing bearing contamination, lubrication loss and electrical damage. The Garlock SGi is a marriage of the Garlock GUARDIAN non-sparking, non-contact labyrinth seal and the AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The seal protects the bearings from electrical discharge damage, while at the same time preventing contamination ingress and lubrication egress.
